Getting Started

Well It`s A Little late but finaly going to get this photo blog started. Turns out travling and blogging is more work then you would think!

So here we are starting out the trip. As you can see it`s a great day finaly nice and hot and sunny.

We are off to to spend the night in tobermory and take the ferry in the morning.

We were supposed to catch the 7:30am crossing but the morning seemed to come to soon so we settled for the 11:30 departure.

Second Stop Sault St Marie

With our late start we have decided to stay in Sault St Marie for the evening instead of heading north on lake superior to Wawa.

The accommodations here are little nicer and the hotel has a nice spa with a sauna and hot tub. great after a long drive!

Here is a shot from the hotel window. A fog has come in over the lake but it`s still a nice view.

Only In Canada!

Some things have changed in the great out doors since the last time I traveled out this way!

At first I thought this was an instant teller but it turns out its a kiosk to pay for parking in the park!

It`s an instant park ranger... it even talks to you telling you to enjoy your stay!

I think i liked the old fashion ranger better. This is taking things a little to far.

Lake Superior

Day 3 of our journey we are traveling from Sault St Marie To Thunder Bay. This is one of the best scenic routes in Ontario.

The views of lake superior are breath taking.. And so is the water. It`s as clear as crystal but so cold. You would not believe!
